I was born and raised in Frederickburg, Texas. Healing has been in my family for many generations. Growing up I watched my grandmother and aunt help heal ailments and sobar (which means to rub/massage in Spanish), needless to say I had acquired an interest.
I originally started a career in massage to help alleviate the pains of pregnancy. I don’t have children of my own yet, but I am the oldest of five. I knew it was my calling after I started working at the only OB/GYN office in Fredericksburg. I saw so many women enter pregnancy with the mind set that it was a disease instead of a natural life process. So many women in pain, all I wanted to do was to make them feel better and ease the process of childbirth.
I have been trained in the following modalities: Prenatal/Postnatal, Structural Bodywork,Swedish, Deep Tissue, Energetic Acupressure, Reflexology, and Energetic Healing. I attended The Austin School of Massage in 2002 and became state licensed in 2003. I have done continuing education at Lauterstien-Conway and Vidaluna. I am currently attending a doula training through Vidaluna.
